PTA election to be held Sept. 22
Welcome to our new and returning Angels and their families. Great things are happening at LBJ and we want all our families to be a part of it. You can join us by participating in PTA. We need all our families to help our school be the best on Guam. Being that LBJ and TAMES are sister schools, we thought that it would be a good idea to combine the Parent Teacher Organizations at the two schools. Upon careful examination of the By-Laws for both organizations, we’ve discovered that it would not be feasible to do so at this time. Therefore, the election that was held earlier in the month has been VOIDED. A new election will be held at each school for 2010 2011 board members. The election for LBJ will be held on Wednesday September 22, 20 during the F.A.S.T. Workshop. Please come out and vote!

PTA Purpose
The function of the PTA is to support the faculty, staff, parents, and especially the students at LBJ Elementary School. This is accomplished in several ways, including classroom volunteers, fundraising, and sponsorship activities.
